AI Engineer & Co-Founder

Forget “jobs.” Forget climbing some corporate ladder. If you’re reading this, you’re the kind of person who wants to create something wild, ambitious, and world-changing—not shuffle PowerPoints at a FAANG company. At CredX.AI, we’re an 18-month-old financial AI startup building a loan contract analytics platform for professional investors. Translation: we’re taking on one of the most powerful, impenetrable corners of Wall Street—and we plan to win. We’re not looking for an employee. We’re looking for a co-founder—a builder, hacker, dreamer, and relentless problem-solver who wants to make history with us.

The Role


We need a hard-charging AI Engineer/Co-Founder who:

  • Writes code like their life depends on it.
  • Thrives in chaos and ambiguity.
  • Wants to build, not just “contribute.”
  • Can switch from hacking LLM prompts to explaining our tech to investors.
  • Isn’t afraid of long nights, messy problems, and impossible deadlines.


  

Required Skill Sets


AI Engineering

  • Deploy AI jobs at scale with LLMs
  • Exploit the bleeding edge: reasoning modes, knowledge graphs, tools, web-search integrations
  • Use AI-powered IDEs + vibe coding to conquer new frameworks fast
  • Build and deploy custom MCP endpoints (and bend third-party ones to your will)
  • Track and test the newest models before most people even hear about them
  • Comfort with cloud AI services and endpoints


Communication

  • Killer writing skills (think: clear, sharp, no-bull)
  • Graduate-level fluency in composition + analysis
  • Can hammer out technical essays, research notes, or docs without breaking a sweat


Data Science

  • Train + deploy models with scikit-learn or MLLib
  • Python scalable to compute clusters
  • Graph analysis, Hugging Face, ML DevOps tools, notebooks


Data Engineering

  • Build data-wrangling pipelines
  • SQL and no-SQL fluency
  • Cloud-native and analytics platform-native table design
  • Data integration mastery

  


The Deal


Upsides:

  • Founders’ equity (4-year vesting)

Expectations:

  • 65–70 hour weeks. Minimum.
  • Learn in your “free time.”
  • Relocate to Cocoa Beach (3–4 days/week in person).
